Al Rehab is a residential district located in New Cairo, east of Cairo Governorate, Egypt. It is considered the first integrated residential city developed by the private sector in Egypt. Al Rehab is situated on the Suez Desert Road, just 15 minutes away from Nasr City and Heliopolis.

The city is divided into ten phases (neighborhoods), each covering an area of 220 feddans. Spanning a total area of 10 square kilometers, the city has a capacity of approximately 200,000 residents. Construction began in October 1997 and is ongoing, with four phases yet to be completed. The project is owned by the Talaat Moustafa Group.

In 2003, the population density in the city was approximately 85 people per feddan, compared to 600 people per feddan in some areas of Cairo. The city is distinguished by its vast green spaces—earning it the nickname "The Green City"—and its elevation above sea level exceeds that of Cairo's Mokattam Mountain. This elevation enhances airflow, resulting in a climate that is significantly more pleasant than that of Cairo, especially at night. Hisham Talaat Moustafa pioneered the development of a fully serviced residential city by the private sector, introducing a new vision for living in Egypt embodied by "Al Rehab" City in New Cairo. Spanning an area of over 10 million square meters and designed to accommodate 200,000 residents, the city offers all necessary services and amenities. This has made Al Rehab a genuine success story in urban development and a unique model worthy of study.

Each phase of Al Rehab City features its own mosque, in addition to a dedicated mosque for the commercial district. Al Rehab’s mosques are notable for their spaciousness, with each accommodating approximately 2,000 worshippers. The city also houses a large church. Al Rehab is home to four private schools: the British School, Al Mostaqbal Language School, the German School, and Othman Bin Affan School.
