"Bayut") take your privacy very seriously and are committed to protecting the privacy
of all visitors and subscribers to our website www.bayut.eg (the "Website") or any
application we make available via an App store (the "App", together with the Website,
the "Platform"), and the corresponding services available through the Platform (the "Services").
Below we set out our privacy policy (the "Policy"), which will outline the way in which
we process any Personal Information that you provide to us. References to "Personal Information"
means information that will allow us to identify you.
Please read this Policy carefully, as it contains important information on who we are and how we collect,
store, use and share your information. By accessing the Platform or using our Services or otherwise
indicating your consent, you agree to, and where required, consent to the collection, use and transfer
of your information as set out in this policy. If you do not accept the terms of this policy, you must
not use the Platform and/or the Services. This Policy supplements other notices and policies and is not

This Policy: (i) applies only to the Platform and not to websites or applications of any other companies
or organisations; and (ii) specifically addresses our obligations pursuant to local law.
References to "users", "you", "yourself" or "your"
is a reference to individuals using our Platforms or Services.
Our Platforms are not intended for anyone under the age of 18 (referred to herein as "Children"
or "Child"). We do not knowingly collect or process Personal Information relating to
Children. If you become aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Information without your
consent, please contact us on cs@bayut.eg and we will, upon
verification, delete such Personal Information.
"Agents" include estate agents, commercial agents, letting agents, managing agents, new
home developers, overseas property owners, build to rent developers, surveyors, and executive agencies.
We are not an estate agency.

includes images, videos, and virtual tours, as well as details about asking prices,
sales history, permit numbers, property type, facilities, fees, agent information,
property size, sold prices, addresses, floor plans, locations, and descriptions; and
- The property data is provided to us by Agents or other third parties on behalf of those
Agents.

- To enable interested buyers or renters to see detailed descriptions and images of
properties that they may be interested in;
- To allow users to see current property Trends such as the prices of houses for sale in
their local area;
- To allow users to check interest rates and other deals for properties, via our mortgage

- To provide our Platforms and Services;
- Use of the information collected for commercial purposes, such as analysing property
market Trends, creating property databases and automated survey and valuation tools for
Agents, and promoting our platforms and services on social media and other third-party
platforms;
- To provide Agents with updates on properties advertised on our Platforms; and
- To enable Agents to advertise their properties to you;

- Providing a Service to potential buyers or renters so that they know what properties are
currently on the market, the price of those properties, building area, completion date,

layout and to provide access to potential beneficial rate of interest and other deals of
those properties through our Platform;
- Providing a Service to Agents by helping them to market properties and understand
changing market dynamics and evolving trends;
- Providing a Service to Agents by advertising properties to potential buyers or
renters;

- If Agents request us to stop advertising a property, we will do so. If any advertising
does not fit our Platform guidelines we shall remove such adverts. However, the property
information will still be available on our Platforms as historical property information.
This will help users and Agents identify previous for-sale or sold prices. For more
information, please refer to the "Market Intelligence" section at the top of our
website.

- If a property has been marketed on the Platforms before, we will still show it on the
Platforms as historical property information or "Trends".
- We also have data that relates to property listings on the Platforms which we collect
from other third parties.

- To assist potential buyers and renters when forming a view about historical market
trends and potential property values;
- To allow users to see property Trends that they may be interested in, such as the
previous sale and sold prices of properties in their local area;
- To enable users to see detailed property descriptions and images of properties in areas
that they may be interested in;
- To assist Agents when researching the approximate value of their property; and
- For our other commercial purposes, such as to identify trends in the property market and
to build property databases and automated survey and valuation tools for users and
Agents to use.

have been on the market and the prices of those properties;
- To enhance the Service that we provide on our Platforms and provide a Service that
benefits Agents, users, our Partners, potential buyers and renters;
- To offer data services to third-party organisations. Our goal is to provide them with
accurate historic property data that they can use for their own purposes.; and
- To provide property valuation tools and surveyor comparison software to Agents.

- Where property data is considered Personal Information, it usually becomes statistical
data over time. We keep the historical property data as long as we need it to provide
the Services explained in the "Why we Collect It" section.

The data we collect about you
Bayut collects personal data to operate our business and to provide you with the product and Services
that we offer. You provide some of this data to us directly, for example when you visit the Website or
the App or register with us as a user (either by creating an account with us or using another third
party platform such as Facebook, Google, Apple) to access our Services, you may be asked to provide
information about yourself as outlined in this Policy.
This information is required to provide our Services to you. If you do not provide such information, it
may delay or prevent us from providing the Services.
This Policy will also apply when accessing the Platform and/or the Services from mobile technology (such
as mobile phones, tablets or other devices). Unless you have chosen to remain anonymous through your
device and/or platform settings, this information may be collected and used by us automatically if you
use the Services and access the Platform from mobile technology.
Calls between you and Bayut, or between you and third parties made through Bayut (such as, real estate
agents or Agents you contact about a property through a form or link on our Platform, or using contact
information found on our Platform), may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance and customer
service purposes. Bayut uses a third-party service provider to track phone calls and text messages
between you and the Agents so that we and the Agents can access certain details about the contact. As
part of this process, Bayut and its service provider will receive in real time and store data about your
call or text message, including the date and time of the call or text message, your phone number, and
the content of the text message.
We may collect non-Personal Information from your Personal Information, but this information does not
directly or indirectly reveal your identity. An example of non-Personal Information is the percentage of
users accessing a specific Service on our Platform, which we calculate from your usage data. However, if
we combine aggregated data with your personal data to identify you, we will treat the combined data as
Personal Information and use it in accordance with this Policy.

When using the search feature, requesting information, or filling out a form on the
Platforms, you may be asked to provide Personal Information about yourself. This can

- the cost and location of the property;
- your location data for proximity searches;
- whether you have a property to sell or rent;
- what stage in the home moving process you are;
- If you choose to contact an Agent using the telephone number on our Platforms, calls may
be recorded for training, monitoring and quality assurance purposes. We may also process
call recordings for the purpose of fulfilling our contract with Agents. We may also keep
a record of call activity, including missed calls.
Bayut users and Property Alerts:
Personal Information that you provide to us when you:
- register as a Bayut user;
- send enquiries to Agents. copies will be available to view in your Bayut account;
- request property email updates such as Property Alerts about when a property is marketed
in your chosen location and meeting your search parameters;

view in your Bayut account:
- saved property or searches;
- reviews of a property;
- access to property viewings via our Platform; and
- adding saved properties and searches.
Use of the Platforms:
Personal Information that you provide when:
- downloading the App or registering either by creating an account with us or using
another third party platform such as Facebook, Google or Apple to use the App;
- you have uploaded a profile pictue or selected to use one from a third party;
- contracting us or other using social media functions on our Platforms;
- entering into competitions, promotions, surveys and market research studies made
available on our Platforms or if we contact you by email, phone, text, whatsapp or
otherwise;
- engaging with additional Services that are available on our Platforms, such as the
mortgage calculator; and
- where you will provide us the following Personal Information: location, buying or
renting status.
Communications:
- Personal Information that you provide by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail, SMS,
whatsapp or otherwise; and
- If you choose to contact us by phone or email or whatsapp or we call you, calls may be
recorded for training, monitoring and quality assurance purposes and for the purpose of
fulfilling our contract with Agents. Phone calls may be monitored in real time. We may
also keep a record of call activity, including missed calls.
Pre-Approval:
- If you choose to apply for a mortgage pre-approval or use our mortgage calculator, you
may be asked to provide Personal Information about yourself. For example, name, email,
mobile number and personal id.
Careers:
- Personal Information you provide us when applying for a job vacancy at Byaut or one of
its group entities, such as your CV, details contained within and covering letter.

- sending your name, address and contact details to the Agent when you request
information on a property they are advertising so that they can contact you;
- enabling us to send you a link to access an online viewing of the property you
have enquired about via email, SMS or WhatsApp;
- Agents must form their own legal basis for processing your enquiry data if they
are processing it for purposes other than responding to your initial enquiry.
Bauyt is not responsible for external third parties or Agents; and
Where telephone calls are recorded, this is for training, monitoring and quality assurance
purposes and for the purpose of fulfilling our contract with Agents;
Registered users and Property alerts:
- To provide you with the benefit of Services for registered users only;
- To provide Property alerts to you (which you have set up) for properties marketed on our
Platforms that meet your search criteria;
- To keep you updated on your account and Services available to you;
- To provide you customised content on our Platforms including suggesting properties or
Services; and
- To provide you access to your enquires you have sent to Agents.
Use of the Platforms:
- To provide the Platforms to you and enable you to download the App;
- To enhance the Services that you request;
- To process any queries that you have about us;
- To contact you for your views on our Services important changes concerning our Platforms
or Services;
- To deliver relevant advertising to you whilst you are on our Platforms;
- To deliver targeted advertising to you; and
- To provide you customised content on our Platforms including suggesting properties or
Services relevant to you.
Communications:
- To process and resolve any queries that you may have raised; and
- For training, monitoring and quality assurance purposes and for the purpose of
fulfilling Agent’s contract where calls (which may include video calls) are recorded.

How long we will keep it for? |
We will keep the Personal Information mentioned above for the durations specified below:
Enquiries to Agents:
- We will keep your first property inquiry from the date you made it, and we will hold
onto the inquiry data until it is no longer necessary. Once you stop using our platforms
or services, the data will be deleted or made anonymous so that it no longer identifies
you;
- Telephone call recordings are stored it is no longer necessary from the date of the
recording, at which point they are deleted; and
- Profiling data will be kept for as long as it is necessary.
Registered users and Property Alerts:
- When you sign up as a user on Bayut, any Personal Information you provide will be stored
as long as you have an active account. If you decide to delete your account, the
Personal Information associated with it will also be deleted or anonymised.
Use of the Platforms:
- Any Personal Information you provide when downloading or registering for the App, or for
accessing in-App services, will be stored for as long as you have the App installed on
your device;
- When you participate in competitions, promotions, surveys, or market research studies
and provide personal information, we will only keep it for as long as we need it. and
- When you interact with us through social media platforms, any Personal Information you
provide will only be kept on those platforms. We will not copy or store it separately.
This information will be kept for as long as your social media account's privacy policy
states.

that be for the current job application or retaining on file for future job vacancies)
or until you notify us that you wish for your Personal Information to be deleted.

- Use GPS technology on your Device to determine your location. Some of our
location-enabled services require your Personal Information for the feature to work;
- Set a unique application number which is contained within the App. When you install or
uninstall the App or when the App searches for automatic updates, that number and
information about your installation (for example, and the type of operating system) may

- Combine technical information with other information that We have about you to help us

- When you sign up for the App and want to use the location data service that uses your
Device's GPS tracker, we will use your voluntary action as consent to process your
Personal Information for this purpose. You can at any time change the location services
settings for the App on your device.

- We will store web server logs of activity on our Platforms which will be anonymised.
- We will hold onto Personal Information only for as long as it is necessary to fulfil its
intended purpose. This enables us to examine traffic patterns and trends on our
Platforms. Once we have finished with it, we will either delete the information or make
it anonymous, so that it no longer identifies you. Moreover, we will keep the unique
application number for as long as the App is installed.

within our group. Each of the companies in our group are authorised to process your information and will

recording)); (ii) other third parties we use to help us run our business (for example, marketing

We receive property data from Agents or other third parties acting on their behalf. Agents or their
representatives are responsible for any Personal Information they have and are subject to their own
privacy policies. We are not responsible for any misuse of your Personal Information by Agents or
another third party.
When you use the services on our or any other websites, they may have access to your Personal
Information. Our Platforms also have links to other third-party websites. Clicking on these links may
allow these parties to collect or share your information. Please note that we are not responsible for
the content, security, privacy policies, or practices of any other third-party websites. We advise you
to review the policy of each website you visit and make sure you are comfortable with their terms before
sharing any Personal Information with them.
Disclosure of information
In the unlikely event that a liquidator, administrator or receiver is appointed over us or all or any
part of our assets that insolvency practitioner may transfer your information to a third-party purchaser
of the business provided that the purchaser undertakes to use your information for the same purposes as
set out in this Policy. We undertake not to provide your Personal Information to third parties save in
accordance with this Policy.
We may share Personal Information with third parties in the event of any reorganisation, merger, sale,
joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets

to certain Professional(s). Those Professionals or their affiliates, contractors, advertisers, Agents or
other designees may use such information and contact you regarding your needs or possible interests, as
may we ourselves. "Professional(s)" means individuals, companies and other
organisations or persons acting as real estate professionals or otherwise engaged in a business relevant
to the Website.
Third-party vendors, including Google and Facebook, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior
visits to the Website. Google and Facebook's use of cookies (in Google's case, the DART
cookie) enables them and their partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to the Website
and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of (i) the use of the DART cookie by visiting the
advertising opt-out page; and (ii) Facebook's cookies by

Payment Data
We employ a third-party provider for processing credit card payments. They have access to Personal
Information needed to perform their functions but may not use it for other purposes. We do not have
access to or retain any of your payment information.

Platforms.
